Weirdest Thing In Your Fridge

When I saw this post today on Serious Eats, about weird items in your fridge, it prompted me to look into my own fridge for "weird" things. I think it's a tie between Blood Orange Bitters, Tamarind Juice, and Texas "Caviar" - jalapeno stuffed green olives.

What weird items are hiding in your fridge? Post in the comments!

(i have roommates) but why we have 3 ...yes 3 containers of Mayo I'll never know. Also, this old sangria that looks really really bad but that Jeff and I bought from a liquor store that was closing after being open like 100 years. It's aged sangria.

Was cleaning out my crisper drawer this weekend and found some lettuce from the farmer's market with a HUGE snail on one of the leaves! so awesome. took him outside and let him roam free in the garden.

This is not in my fridge per se, but rather my parents....

Summer 2000. Y2K fever had come and gone. America was gearing up for an election. I was living at my parents's house. In a fit of late night hunger, I scavenged through the condiment section, hoping to find something delicious to mix with some cut veggies. Deep in the recesses of the fridge, I found a small bottle of pimento spread. On the label, the makers (I believe this was a Kraft product) proudly announced their sponsorship of the US Olympic team. 2000 being an Olympic year, I though nothing of it. When I opened the bottle, a wafting of putridity hit my nose. On closer inspection, the spreadmakers were touting their allegiance to the men and women of the Barcelona Olympics, circa 1992. Fucking gross.
